Introduction

Moskito if is a geographic system of information (G SHARP) which is equipped with an extensive program interface. Moskito is able to store geographic information efficiently and to process. They can as grasp topographic maps as specialist, for example, gas water or stream maps. Beside the geometrical information the data bank can also store material data in the form of attributes to the grasped geometrical data. Moreover, an interface is available for material data to several data bank systems which take over then the storage of these data.

Moskito exists of a geographic data bank which is firmly coupled with an announcement module. The contents of the announcement reflect any time the contents of the data bank. The system is served about dialogue boxing and menu, alternatively, however, also about a command line and text editions. As input devices graphic arts trays and Digitizer are also available beside keyboard and mouse. The graphic arts tray is used for giving by co-ordinates in the data bank. The inputs are carried out with the Digitizer. In addition, on the graphic arts tray keys can be put on which release functions with choice with the Digitizer or give parametre. In addition a so-called paper menu is appropriated on the surface of the tray, to an easy sheet of paper on which the keys with her functions are illustrated as fields.
