This menu item contains a dialog for integrating an external WebMapService. Integration requires an active internet connection.
Extra > Webserver > coose mapserver
After selecting this menu item, the "Select web server" dialog box opens.
In der Liste im linken Bereich sind alle eingefügten WMS zu finden. Diese werden über den Namen der Gruppe sortiert.
To create a new entry, enter a group and the new address in the Server section on the right-hand side.
The address to enter is the address used to query the capabilities of a service. However, the complete address is not required; only the portion up to the question mark is needed.
After entering the values, click the "New" button. The group with the new address will be created and displayed in the list on the left.
Double-clicking a group toggles the group's addresses on the display. Clicking the plus sign before an address, or double-clicking the address itself, opens a list of available layers. At the end of this list is a list of available coordinate systems (CRS).
To display a layer, click the layer name and the name of the desired CRS. The selected information will appear in the Layers pane on the right.
To create a custom layer with the chosen name from this server, click the Define button. The corresponding layer will then be added to the open plan management window, and a plan with the same name will be created. A raster object will be generated in the plan, containing all the information needed to retrieve the layer.
If a plan is already loaded, the raster object can be added to that plan using the Load button.
By navigating within the boundaries of the raster object, the images will be requested from the server and displayed in Moskito. |
