Purpose

The plan management is used here with the pressure, with the new witness by plans and with the store of plans.

Method

The plan management is a data bank with 3 tables. Everybody 3 is summarised under a name. The first table contains a list of the defined sheet types with her typical qualities, e.g., of the resolution. The second table contains his expansion to every plan. In the third table the sheet head attributes are registered to every plan, so the attributes which are connected with this plan. This are, e.g., the local net to which the plan belongs, or the last pressure date.

Use

The plan management ""is manipulated with the function of the same name "plan management". It lets itself generate a plan management, open and fill. The files of the plan management are filed, provided that it does not concern an ODBC data bank, in the list GDS$DBB.

Implicitly the plan management is used by the functions New, Print and LoadArea.

Work routine plan management

1. Generate to a new plan management.

In order to generate a new plan management only their name is necessary. It is enough

2. Open to this plan management

An existing plan management is activated. The plan management must exist, i.e. her tables must exist, however, still no data contained need.

3. Put in of the required sheet types

First the sheet types must be defined.

Then the plans must be put down.

Defining the sheet types happens with the untercommand LAYER. All information must be carried out as a parametre for this sheet type which defines all plans this sheet type.

4. Colts of the sheet types with plans

5. Automatic gathering of available plans

The plans must not be put down individually by hand in the plan management. The function plan management offers ""an automatic with "ADDPLANS". For it a Layer of the plan management is given and the function ascertained all at the moment available plans in this Layer and puts down this in the plan management. The names of the plans are indicated if no plans are listed a mistake has occurred.
