Hardware

The following hardware components are necessary for the company of Moskito as a least condition:

•IBM or IBM compatible PC with Intel's processor or compatible CPU. Least requirement is a Pentium III with 400 Mhz (or comparably).

•For the future Moskito will be also executable on other machines, like PowerPC, Macintosh....

•128 mb of main storage.

•At least 60 mb of hard disk place for the installation. The other necessary capacity depends on the data to be processed – to guarantee a sensible work, however, at least other 30 mb of hard disk place should be available. By leaving out the documentation the necessary record place decreases to less than 20 MByte.

•Graphics map with high resolution, 3D-ability is not necessary.

•17" monitors.

•It" must exist either 31/2" Floppy-or a CD-ROM disk drive. Alternatively the installation can be carried out by the net.

•A parallel and optionally serial interface for a graphics tray.

Not compelling inevitably, but sensibly, is the application of a printer, a hard disk from at least 1 Gbyte and a network connection.

For more demanding uses it is recommendable furthermore to integrate a data bank server as well as a Digitalisiertisch to guarantee a sensible work with Moskito.
